Casey has worked in literature and the social sciences as a translator, editor and writer. As a Haas Scholar in 2001 and a Fulbright grantee in 2002, she has experience with grantwriting and submitting fellowship applications. Casey holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Cambridge and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley. She has translated campaigns or promotional materials for a wine club, a fashion label, an olive oil manufacturer, multiple real estate brokers, and an extreme sports resort, just to name a few. Casey has also helped advertising professionals to create college courses about their work, for the Academy of Art University.
Casey has worked as a manager in offices in the United States, Spain and Germany, and so is familiar with many different business cultures. She has a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge in Great Britain and a strong command of both British and American English. She has translated annual reports, memoranda, letters, e-mails, estimates and project bids. Casey holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature (with highest honors) from the University of California, Berkeley.
