Its true. M-W is considering revising it’s policy regarding all contractions. I don’t see what all the hoopla is about. Am I missing something here?

Yea for you, Beverly! I, too, use it correctly. Is Mr. Andrews saying that “its” will be acceptable even when one is using it as a contraction??! Heaven forfend!! NO! Jeez…because people use incorrect grammar long enough, it should then become the accepted form??!
